Quartermaster Press Studio is a collective of artists that produces etchings, aquatints, intaglios, linocuts, collagraphs, monotypes and monoprints using a shared etching press and studio on Vashon Island. Our mission is to spread the word that contemporary printmaking is alive and well--full of creativity, experimentation and inventiveness. We want to share our understanding of graphic esthetics

The featured QMP printmakers Brian Fisher, Christina Nichols, Debi Shandling Crawford, Deborah Taylor, Lisa Guy, Mike Darr, and Sue Hardy are beautifully paired with Vashon potters April Dalinis, Karen Fevold, Mary Robinson and Marla Smith at the Gallery Gift Shop at VCA. We will be there through March. Spring is a wonderful time to purchase new art.
