Last Saturday we loved attending Japan Fest after our deliveries (pictured above)! We met many wonderful people and gave away Japanese themed books. 🇯🇵🚒🇯🇵

This Saturday is ! We will be cheering on and giving plenty of space to the cyclists we see on our route! 🚴‍♀️🚒

As it turns out…there’s an even tinier and cuter fire truck on Vashon!

Give♥BIG is coming up (May 7th and 8th). This is an opportunity for the community to lend a hand and give their support to the Vashon Reads bookmobile.

Vashon Reads' door to door delivery of books ensures that island kids have access to books no matter where they live. Your donations will go towards books, gas, and insurance. We are 100% volunteer run!

Happy National Library Week📚
Vashon Reads is proud to be one of the many libraries on Vashon!

It’s amazing how many different libraries we have on our little island. In addition to the traditional book library we have a tool library, medical equipment lending, musical instruments library, food preparation equipment library, baby clothes&parenting books library, and a Dish ware lending library for events. How cool is that!

Check your local chamber of commerce or google lending libraries in your community.

What an inviting reading nook Tosho the bookmobile provides.

We love watching readers of all ages make themselves at home, and find a new friend and adventure in a book.

These are memories that will last a lifetime.
