Wooks at this handsome Pitbull puppy named Pinto being the big spoon to a wounded itty bitty Havanese named Marla!! They both are currently in our rescue and just so happen to be residing in the same wonderful foster home doing this together!!

Benny (BENNY AND THE JETS 🎶) now Cooper was ADOPTED!!! He’s got us singing again after seeing that big smile on his handsome face as he trotted in with his new mommy!! She has been tossing around the idea of adopting a dog and after seeing our last updated post on him and his progress going from lunging to loving she decided he was the one. He went home with her as a foster to adopt to make sure he was feline approved as well as to make sure he was ready for this moment overall. On day 2 he was glued to her, has been nothing but a tail wagging gentleman and could care less about cat roomies so she informed us he most likely wouldn’t be back. He loves frolicking & zooming around his new yard and being the center of mom’s universe!! Happy Tails!!

Happy 12th Birthday to Trenleh of The Sunshine Coop and one of our VIP volunteers!!!! We surprised this sweet future veterinarian with herself as a Barbie on her actual birthday while she was here restocking our cooler with her farm fresh eggs! Happy Birthday Trenleh!!

Please join us in welcoming TOM & JERRY into our rescue who joined us Sunday morning!! These 2 handsome dudes landed on a nice ladies farm who contacted some lovely volunteer trappers to assist who then contacted us after successfully trapping them! Teamwork for the win!

Tom and Jerry are guessed to be 2 year old male rat terrier/dachshund mixes from the same litter. Due to sibling syndrome we will be separating them as we do not adopt siblings together for their long term benefit. They were most likely dumped and then fending for themselves for an unknown amount of time so they are little works in progress. Tom is a man of many scary sounding growls with zero follow through while Jerry is a submissive scaredy cat. They LOVE, LOVE, LOVE kids!! They appear normal & confident with endless wagging tails at the sight of little people so once adults are “in” too they’ll make terrific family dogs! **Video in comments!**

They were fully vetted including being neutered on their 4th day with us so it’s all uphill from here boys!!

Archer was ADOPTED!! He’s now an official member of this cute family that he joined a few weeks ago as a foster to adopt and he’s as proud as can be!! He came to us from a humane case back in February where he lived with a ton of other dogs and arrived pretty scared of everything. He’s put in lots of work and is becoming quite the confident social butterfly! We’d like to give a huge thanks to Vinnie of Say it Once Rescue League for doing a in home training session with them all yesterday that helped seal the deal! Archer hadn’t lived a life a dog deserved beforehand so they had to work out some quirks of him adjusting to life as a busy family dog with young humans. They didn’t immediately give up but instead gave him a tremendous amount of patience, space, understanding and love which is exactly what a true rescued dog requires!! We’re super thankful for those who pick our underdogs and treat them like royalty! Happy Tails!!

Churro was ADOPTED!! His entire world is about to be flipped upside down after landing his new devoted parents!! They haven’t owned a dog for 15 years and when they had it was always large dogs so they are in for a true little dog experience! Churro is a HAM and instantly demands attention with his perfectly wavy curls bouncing about while he makes you his entire world. Mom works from home so he’s got himself a full time human servant who is going to dare we say SPOIL him?! He started dancing around doing his prayer hands during their meet & greet totally lighting up their life so wait until he unleashes all that personality! You go Churro!! Happy Tails!!
