The US Department of Energy at the Savannah River Site (SRS) in Aiken, South Carolina, recently acquired a new state-of-the-art electrofishing boat from Smith-Root to bolster sampling efforts as part of work to survey the effects of its operations on people and natural resources surrounding the site.
