If you take pictures with your smart phone, you may want to turn off Geotagging. If you upload any photo to the internet directly from your phone with this feature on, anyone with the right knowledge can find out EXACTLY where you took the photo. It's your privacy. Here's a website to assist in turning this feature off on most smart phones.

NSA collects millions of e-mail address books globally The contact information is intercepted as it moves across global data links. Many lists belong to Americans.
Biometrics and YOU + Technology: Biometric (finger print scanning) technology has been around for over a decade, even longer in some instances. There are currently over a dozen good ways to fool finger print scanners. If your finger print scanning device fails, it then falls on a secondary form of credential screening, which is usually a password. So why not stick with passwords or pattern unlock schemes to begin with. If you cut your finger or have glue on your finger this could also render your biometric scanner useless. Point being, do not divulge any more personal information about yourself than absolutely necessary. I fully embrace new technology ideas, when they make sense. The new iPhone finger scanning unlock mechanism just isn't necessary, and I personally see this as just another reason to release ANOTHER iPhone into the market without any real significant technology upgrades.
