3 tips to building a foundation with your dog! 🐶👏🏼

1. Communication is KEY! Setting appropriate and clear expectations along with understanding effective communication techniques will help ensure your training success.

2. Motivate your dog! What does your dog love most - delicious smelly treats, praise, or maybe their ball?? Keep your dog engaged and have FUN!

3. Without consistency there are no results. Ensure you are making the time and not giving into unwanted behaviors. If your dog knows they can, they will!

Some people ask me “how did you become interested in dog training?” I owe it all to this guy - Havoc, my very best friend.

Growing up with dogs my whole life, it was apparent Havoc was special. The drive to work with and help animals has always been there, even the consideration of being a veterinarian at one point. The fascination of training grew after many nights of watching YouTube videos and how amazing the relationship was between the trainers and their dogs.

It was after Havoc joined my life that I realized how rewarding a great relationship can be with your dog. That’s when it became my mission to establish Unleashed K9 Training and help others have such a rewarding relationship with their dogs too.
