I came here to remind you that influencers make picture perfect footage of unrealistic lifestyles because that’s their job. Don’t compare yourself to that. Let’s take a moment to have some gratitude. You have a home, a car, clothes on your back, food in your belly, etc.. Let’s remember that an unaesthetic and not photo ready home is NORMAL! You’re doing great if you’re doing your best. It doesn’t have to mean sad beige and zero clutter. The toys on your floor is a sign of happy children playing. The dishes in your sink is a sign of full bellies. The laundry that’s not done is a sign of clothes on your back. Shift the perspective and pat yourself on the back for providing the way that you can.

It’s the weekend! How do you go about making sure you’re relaxing and rejuvenating for the next week, but also making sure your house is clean enough so when you start the week you’re set up for success with a clean space?

On Fridays my cleaning focus is my children’s laundry and my kids room. While they’re little it’s such a wonderful time to encourage them to keep their space nice and teach them that it’s self care to live in a clean space. How do you teach your kids to clean? Do you have them watch you or do you guide them as they do it themselves? There are no wrong answers! 🥰

I don’t know who needs to hear this but progress doesn’t always have to be something you see physically in front of you! I struggle with allowing myself to believe I’ve actually done something in my home when it’s laundry, for us it’s usually a chore that’s unseen unless you’re in a bedroom where it’s taking place. Just because your house might not look like you’ve cleaned, doesn’t mean you haven’t made any progress! 🥰 what are you working on today? How are you being productive in your home?
