Grooming With Emilly

Miss Koda came in for an express service today because the kennel is not her favorite place. She was an absolute sweetheart and I loved working with her!

Today I got to go to the NW Groom Show and was able to get into the Rescue Roundup Competition by the standby list. I got there earlier than everyone else and essentially waited to see if there would be those who didn't show up.

Jazzy was my partner up there. Her and I had never met before, she is from a rescue group. I pulled a random number that happened to be assigned to her. We didn't place unfortunately, but this was my very first ever competition and it was an absolute blast. I look forward to next year!

Stepping back into grooming now that I'm 7 1/2 months pregnant is no easy feat, but it's a world I'm absolutely in love with.

After nearly a 6 month grooming hiatus, I am back to grooming and now also back at PetSmart!

Luna was one of my very first haircuts being back this week and I fell in love with her!

Ollie had a LOT of puppy energy, but him and I worked together through his matting and excited-ness to get to that gorgeous doodle-y face!

Sorry about the pause on posts! Going through a bit of a transition period again, so I'm hoping to have more to post soon!

In the meantime... This is Bob the JRT. He was amazing 😍

I love working with schnauzers and little 9 month old Eleanor was no exception! She was such a sweetheart!
