The Roost

It’s with heavy hearts that Chantae and I come to you to let y’all know that we have decided to close the doors to The Roost, permanently.

Looking back at these past 5 years, we feel so blessed for the memories, friendships and relationships that we’ve made with this awesome community that we proudly call home sweet home! We have also been fortunate to host and/or participate in so many local events and so much wanted to end our journey with this past Friday’s Sanford Elementary Daddy/Daughter dance (4th year!!). We have always felt an alliance with the VA schools (kids/teachers/volunteers/Admin) and felt it imperative to host one last pre-event! And we were able to do just that!!

In closing, thank you thank you thank you to everyone who supported us in our journey - there are so many of you!!! We look forward to what the next chapter in life looks like for us and hope to share some of it with y’all!

The Roost’s 4th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance Pre-Celebration is only days away!! If you’ve celebrated this event with us before, you know that we’ll make this night a memorable one! We just can’t wait to give your special daughter/date a gift when she arrives to help her celebrate YOUR night together!

Just make a reservation for Friday, March 3rd to receive a sweet gift for your little angel and the two of you will enjoy some food and experience pre-dance memories that you will never forget!

Today and Tomorrow, we are bringing back our Hatch Chile Burger!! 1/2 lb angus hand made patty, Hot Hatch Chiles, pepper Jack cheese and topped w/our homemade Sriracha Mayo! It’s awesome!!!

We are finally back open for lunch and dinner!!

Hoping that all of our Van Alstyne friends and nearby residents are safe and at home during this crazy and icy time. If the forecast proves to be true, we’d love to have y’all join us and enjoy $2 off of ALL bone-in Wing orders this Thursday through Saturday! Winter weather is on its way, but don’t you worry, we’ve got you covered! We will be making our Homemade chili (no beans) every morning this week and it will be readily available for dine-in or pickup until we sell out! This spicy bowl will be served with shredded Colby Jack cheese, chopped green onions and a dollop of sour cream!!

Come on by The Roost and try our Harvest Salad! All organic greens & a marinated grilled chicken breast, topped with slivered almonds, smoked bacon pieces, dried cranberries and blue cheese crumbles! Get some salty with the sweet!! Available all weekend!

Opportunity at The Roost! We will soon have a part time position open in the kitchen, Tuesday/Thursday and Friday nights. Normal shift is 4:30-9pm. This position doesn’t require experience as we will provide all training. That said, Excellent work ethic, dependability and willingness to learn are all a must have. Hourly pay commensurate upon experience. High school students always welcome to apply! We have employed many VA students in the past, and do currently, so come on down if interested!
