Sometimes the hardest part isn't letting go but rather learning to start over. - Nicole Sobon

I apologize for my silence on here. Life has been a little overwhelming these past 4 months. Big changes have happened in my life recently and I'm trying to navigate these new waters. Starting over is hard no matter what it is that you're starting over in. I will be taking a long and much needed break from social media. I've noticed that it steals away a lot of my time and keeps me from going out into the world to live life. It is a thief of joy when you are constantly comparing what you have to what you see and believe others to have. I think social media is great for connecting with new people and learning about new hobbies and such, but there is a time and season for everything and right now I think I need a break. So this is my goodbye...for now anyway. I may come back when things are more settled in my life again. Before I go, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me in my flower farming journey! You made all my hard work worth it! I will most definitely be growing flowers again someday, but for now I need rest and time away from social media. π

I want to give a huge heartfelt thank you to Janie .poetic.fleuripist These specialty dahlia tubers were gifted to me from last year to help me get started in the world of dahlias. I'm not there to dig them up this year and I really didn't want them to go to waste (because I am SO thankful that they were gifted to me to begin with!), so I asked Janie if she wanted to dig them up to take to her flower farm where she is growing flowers for local food pantries (this girl has a BIG heart for people and her community). She was excited to do it AND she is going to mail me some of my tubers π₯° I feel so blessed to have met this wonderful woman! I got to meet so many wonderful people through my flower farm and I'm looking forward to this next chapter here in Florida!

Daffodils are so underrated in the flower world! They are frilly, fun, and some of them have amazing fragrance to them! They are a top favorite flower for me π What do you think of them?

Celosia is a must have in my gardens! You can use it fresh or dry for bouquets and it comes in so many fun colors and shapes! It's also edible π In tropical Africa they grow it as a food crop. The leaves provide nutrients such as calcium, phosphorus, iron, and vitamins, as well as a little protein. I may just add this one to my veggie garden next year! What do you think about it? Would you eat this beautiful plant?
