The W.A.N.T.E.D. Project is a non-profit program of Community Healing and Caring Center, Inc. Our young men, especially young men of color, are W.A.N.T.E.D.
by other youth because of poverty, socioeconomic disparities, and lack of self-esteem that draws them to gang involvement and other deviant behaviors. They are also W.A.N.T.E.D. by law enforcement who expect violence from them and are hyper sensitive to their existence even when they are not misbehaving. Project seeks to tell a different story; young men are W.A.N.T.E.D. by their families, friends
