Happy day after Thanksgiving or as others call it, Black Friday! After finally getting a day to sleep in, I spent the morning cooking up some of our Lavender Body Butter for another upcoming fair.

When we say handmade, we mean it! We use non-gmo, organic products because that’s what we would want for ourselves. We use high quality ingredients and oils but for a reasonable price.

Today, I experimented with a new aloe gel! When perusing for a great product, I found this organic one infused with tea tree oil, chamomile, and Manuka honey. All of these ingredients are amazing for the skin!

After the oils and butter are melted in a double boiler, it is immersed in an ice bath to cool. Arrowroot and then the aloe are blended in for several minutes to make it as smooth as possible.

Lastly, when completely cooled, the doTerra lavender and frankincense are mixed in so as not to compromise the integrity of the oil. I use this on my hands and feet every night before bed and the lavender helps me sleep.

Crazy, right? I am not even prepared for Halloween but according to business experts, we were supposed to start advertising for Christmas a month ago. 🤷🏻‍♀️
So here we are getting ready for a couple of local Christmas fairs. First one - November 6th at Holy Name of Jesus in Valhalla for the Christkindl Fair.
We will have all our favorites, plus limited edition Christmas Soaps and sprays with the scent of Christmas for ambience. Perfect for those who don’t like to vacuum pine needles, but love the smell.
Don’t be like me … come on out and get a jump on the holiday rush.
I have no doubt I will be doing some shopping there to get my own start. In the meanwhile, wish me luck getting a costume. 🤪😂
