Valhalla Schools

For the past month, our 12th graders at Valhalla High School have engaged in "Senior Options" - a program designed to give them real-world experiences and knowledge in a field of their choice.

The tradition of Valhalla High School's Senior Sunset fell on a perfect evening last week. Our 12th graders gathered for one of their final times together, shared a meal, played games at Viking Stadium and received their yearbooks.

Congratulations to Valhalla Middle School's May "Students of the Month." They are sixth grader Charlotte Botsford, eighth grader Gabriela Camillo and seventh grader Zachary Lederer!

Congratulations to our three Valhalla athletes who will be continuing their sporting careers in college! They are:

- Eddie Lederer: Baseball at Manhattanville University
- Kristen Mendez: Volleyball at William Paterson University
- Connor Hayes: Baseball at Molloy University

Congratulations to our Valhalla High School varsity spring athletes for all of their success throughout the season!

The Valhalla Union Free School District won four communications awards from the National School Public Relations Association - three of which were first place!

The winners of NSPRA’s 2026 Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards were announced in early June. Valhalla's Public Relations Specialist Natalia Baage won:

✏ Award of Excellence in the Video category for “Valhalla’s Holiday Video: Celebrating Viking Joy”
✏ Award of Excellence in the Calendar category for “Valhalla’s Calendar: Community and Connection”
✏ Award of Excellence in the Newsletter category for “Valhalla Voyages: Sharing Viking Values”
✏ Award of Merit in the Financial Publication category for “Valhalla’s Budget Newsletter: Building Our Future Together”
