Today we jump fire!! On the Tuesday before the Persian New Year, we jump over fire and repeat these words :
Sorkhi-e Man Az To/Zardi-e To Az Man! This is to ask the fire to burn off any bad luck,bad health, or resentment, and to ask(pray) for health, happiness, and cheer in the Noruz(New Day).
