As a licensed psychotherapist I MUST put on record my disgust and anger regarding the newest awful Supreme Court ruling regarding the horrifying practice of "conversion therapy ".
In the world of "Do No Harm", conversion therapy is debunked , hateful , harmful and completely sick.

Any therapist who considers for one second the "option " of changing your inherent sexuality should not be allowed within 5 feet of you. And to use "God" as the excuse makes it even worse.

Feel free to look into the documentary "1946: The Mistranslation That Shifted Culture" that explains how Christian homophobia came from a mistranslated word that didn't even appear in the bible until 1946.

😬Here's what I think about Dr. Amen...😬 This is my opinion based on the information I have and the research I have done. And this perspective is shared by many, many people in the ADHD field (Researchers, psychiatrists, psychologists, scientists, etc.). It is my opinion that Dr. Amen continues to promote inaccurate information about ADHD, including appropriate ways to diagnose it, despite much of the scientific community disproving his claims. Whether he does that because he believes that science is wrong or he's willfully misleading, I obviously don't know. But I (and many others) believe that it's harmful to the ADHD community.
