We're sharing just a taste of the new Turner Center for the Arts Meta Shaw Coleman Children's Imagination Station. What an incredible place! The hands-on, interactive experience is going to be such an asset to our community. There are so many engaging stations to learn about science, technology, film making, the music industry, how sawmills operate, natural sciences, and Georgia Grown produce. That's just the start! There's also a flight simulator and tribute to Moody Air Force Base! Studio 8 really enjoyed being a part of this unique project!

Officials of Lowndes County gathered yesterday for the ribbon cutting of the new Mental Health Facility at the Lowndes County Jail. This new 90-bed facility is designed to house those struggling with mental health issues in a setting apart from general population inmates. The County made this project a top priority to help address the significant number of offenders with mental health issues. Studio 8 enjoyed working with county personnel, the Sheriff's Office, Cauthan Construction, and Allstate Construction to bring this resource to the Lowndes County community.

Studio 8 was excited to help sponsor and serve at the "Christmas Staff Appreciation Lunch" at Dewar Elementary School. It was a great way to share some holiday cheer and recognize the outstanding work their staff does all year long!

"Gateway at the Green" is a new workforce housing community for families developed by The Gateway Companies in partnership with SC State Housing and the City of Greenville, South Carolina. The complex provides 72 apartment units, and a community building that features social gathering areas, a fitness center, computer center, and a leasing office. Exterior amenities such as a multi-station playground and mail kiosk are also provided. The site was designed and constructed to provide existing wetlands protection in a beautiful, wooded location and is in close proximity to businesses, shopping, and medical centers. The complex was built by Creative Builders, Inc. of Greenville, SC and is certified to be accessible, energy efficient per the EarthCraft Multi-Family program, and to meet the stringent requirements of the SC Housing program.

"Peaks of Dahlonega" is a new, affordable housing community designed for families. Located on a 46-acre site with beautiful mountain views, the community includes 60 apartment units with several amenities offered to encourage a healthy lifestyle and social engagement. Amenities include a covered pavilion with picnic facilities, a fenced community garden, an equipped playground, and a community building with a computer center and fitness center.

Congratulations to Fort Valley State University on this outstanding project! It is a great resource for the students of FVSU and the Agricultural community!

Agriculture is so important to Georgia, and Fort Valley State University's new Cold Vegetable Processing Facility will expand the training of students and the capability of the agricultural community! Studio 8 enjoyed our partnership and collaboration in working with FVSU to see this vision become a reality!

Today we cut the ribbon on our new Cold Vegetable Processing Facility. The 5,520 square foot building has equipment that can do everything from washing to packaging fresh vegetables.
