When choosing your home inspector, make sure to ask if they will access the crawl space and inspect it themselves.
While it is one of the dirtiest and sometimes most difficult places to inspect, it is extremely important! Your flooring integrity is typically best seen from below.
Call me for your home with crawlspace inspections! I’d love to help!

Did you know the best kind of advertisement is word of mouth? 🗣️ According to a study, “92% of consumers believe recommendations from friends and family over all forms of advertising.”
If I have been able to conduct an inspection for you or someone you know, would you please leave a review? ⭐️ We are SO thankful to have so much support from our friends and family! I wouldn’t be able to have the business I do without you all! ❤️

A smelly bathroom may not always be the rememants of its last occupant and their lack of Poo-Pourri. 🥴🚽
Now that I have your attention, after complaints of a sewer-like smell in a bathroom, the inspection yielded a pipe intended to vent sewer odors out of the home and through the roof was left disconnected. This led to the odor pouring into the attic and then seeping back into the home. This is an easy fix, thankfully, which leaves a happy homeowner and inspector alike!

Home is supposed to be our safe space; the place you can come to after a hard day, prop your feet up and relax. 🛀🏻
However, sometimes our houses may have hidden dangers lurking in places not often searched. No, I don’t just mean the spiders hiding in the attic. 😉 Places like attics and crawl spaces are typically not inspected by current or potential homeowners. Pictured below is a flue pipe that has been disconnected for an unknown amount of time. This pipe is connected to a gas furnace that contains carbon monoxide. Not only could you be breathing carbon monoxide from this open pipe, but it also is relseasing moisture in the attic causing other issues such as bacterial growth.
The most concerning? This disconnected pipe is a major fire hazard! 🔥
When deciding if you could benefit from a home inspection, ask yourself, is this little pipe something you would have noticed and immediately known how dangerous it could be? If the answer is no, make sure you call Levi Rocheleau for an inspection! It could be the difference in a potential house catastrophe.

Home Inspections are great ideas even on new constructions! Contractors will sometimes overlook cracked windows, broken tiles, or incorrectly installed cabinet doors….
Other times, they miss the ALLIGATOR hiding in the ATTIC!!! 🥴🐊
