What a better way to start off our season. With 8 rookies playing in their first and second games yesterday the whole team showed off a good work ethic and great resiliency. We would like to thank GCSU RFC for inviting us to their deep roots tournament. We stayed the day with a 42-0 win over Georgia southern and ended it with a 29-0 win over GCSU. The future looks bright for these young men and this rugby club thank you for all of our supporters. National Small College Rugby Organization - NSCRO

7 Blazers have been selected to be on the inaugural NSCRO South team. They will compete in Austin, Texas on June 21st-24th against other select side players from all over the country! Best of luck to the boys!

GCSU canceled our game this weekend, making us Georgia State Champions and South Cup bound.

This spring’s matrix season

15s out with a bang!! Without any subs, the Blazers played 80 minutes of iron man rugby. A lot of heart was given by everyone. Thank you to Atlanta Old White Rugby Football Club for hosting the NSCRO South Cup. Congratulations to LSUA Rugby on their hard earned win. Best of luck!

Valdosta State Rugby's very own Michael Marshall will be playing alongside professional rugby players this weekend at the Savannah St. Patrick's day Rugby Tournament. He also will be the only college player to wear the shirts of two different squads. We wish him the best of luck! Go Blazers!!

With the win, the Blazers will be representing the state of Georgia in the South Cup regional tournament.

Waking up at the crack of dawn to drive five hours to South Georgia and take photos of for their state championship match against GCSU was S O WORTH IT. VSU Rugby won that game 39-31 ( I think lol ) and are now STATE CHAMPS. Congrats guys!
