I am retiring from worldcup skiracing. Thank you to every single person that has been a part of the last 26 years, especially my family. Looking back, I had big goals, not all of them achieved, but I feel incredibly lucky for the path that I have taken. In a sport where tiny margins can decide over the next years of your life, I am beyond grateful with how things went. All the friendships, success, misery, lessons learned and places I’ve seen. It was fun to try to be the best at something very difficult. I will keep that in mind for future endeavours.

I will be forever grateful to the sport for these years, besides introducing me to my wife🦍❤️.

I’m especially grateful to all the support I have gotten over the last three years racing independently. Not only but also through 🦍❤️ You are the best.

Finally! After a couple close races these past weeks I’m happy with a 22nd place today. Thank you all for the support🦍❤️

What a fight in Wengen! I just came in short for the second run again in extreme conditions. Disappointed to miss out on these chances but not giving up. 🦍❤️

Adelboden is just as tough as it is beautiful! I couldn’t really find a way to ski the rut and made too many mistakes. Fantastic job by my teammates with a personal best and with another podium 🦍 now full focus on Wengen 💰

The season is coming up, and here is how I see things.
It’s year three of racing independent. It’s been a crazy ride, I learned a lot and got back to where I was before. I feel like I have more in me than I have shown so far. This upcoming season we will find out if I can compete with the top guys.
