🔥 Stage 1 Fire Restrictions are now in effect throughout Eagle County. Due to dry conditions and limited moisture, restrictions have been implemented to help reduce the risk of wildfire.

Please note that the Town of Vail operates under restrictions equivalent to Eagle County's Stage 1 Fire Restrictions year-round.

Activities affected include personal fireworks, open burning, charcoal use, outdoor fireplaces, smoking, fi****ms, and welding/hot work.

****SEEKING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE****

Vail Police are seeking the public’s assistance regarding a bicycle theft that occurred at approximately 12:43 p.m. on May 29 from the Four Seasons, located at 1 Vail Road in Vail.

A subject in a dark jacket and wearing a ball cap was seen taking the bicycle via security footage. The bicycle is a black and green Specialized Stumpjumper with mismatched handlebar grips, one yellow and one black; and silver metal pedals, one displaying the word “Spoon” and the other the word “Spark.” The bike is valued at approximately $1,000.

Those with information regarding the identity of the individual pictured, or with any additional information related to this incident are asked to contact Officer Rodas at 970-479-2201 or [email protected].

All suspects are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

****SEEKING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE****

Vail Police are seeking the public’s assistance regarding a vehicle that was vandalized at approximately 10:50 a.m. on May 23 at Safeway, located at 2131 N Frontage Rd W. in Vail.

A subject wearing a blue shirt and jeans was seen via security footage pouring milk on and slashing the tires of a 2025 red Toyota Sienna. The damage is estimated at $740.

K9 Goldie has been hard at work training alongside his handler, Detective Genno, to make sure the events held at Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater are safe.

Not only will K9 Goldie help keep the local community safe, but he also serves as an important resource across Colorado. K9 Goldie is one of the only bomb-detection dogs along the I-70 corridor!

And of course, we couldn't resist sharing some paw-dorable shots of K9 Goldie while enjoying the nice weather.

Vail Police are seeking the public’s assistance regarding the theft of two bicycles that occurred at approximately 3 a.m. Tuesday, May 26 from the parking garage of The Sebastian, located at 16 Vail Rd. in Vail Village.

A subject in a black or dark grey hoodie, face mask and blue jeans was seen taking one of the bicycles via security footage. This person is associated with a red Jeep Liberty, which is believed to have stolen license plates.
