The 19th Annual Vail Winterfest "Gnome Home" is transforming Vail into a winter wonderland!

Watch the Gore Creek Promenade transform as Paul Wertin and the Alpine Ice team install 25,000 pounds of sculpted ice, featuring larger-than-life gnomes and their forest friends.
Inspired by European folklore and illuminated each evening, this is truly art that melts hearts. Wander through the installation by day or at dusk and experience the magic with the Grand Opening & Lighting Celebration on Sunday, Jan. 25.
