Get expert advice from Kelly Daly, a physical therapist at Howard Head Sports Medicine, and Matt Lawson, a personal trainer and licensed professional counselor at Vail Health Behavioral Health, in this article from Covered Bridge Magazine: https://coveredbridgevail.com/how-to-navigate-high-performance-culture-in-mountain-communities/

In mountain communities, high performance is often the norm. Ultra races, endless training plans, 100-day ski seasons and packed schedules can make it easy to forget what true wellness looks like.

Imagine a cancer patient, exhausted from treatment and in pain, who doesn't have to leave home to receive palliative care. Instead, a nurse knocks on their front door to provide comfort and symptom management. This is what Shaw at Home makes possible. Thanks to the generosity of the Vail Health Volunteer Corps, we were able to purchase a vehicle for the care team.

Now through June 30, your gift will have twice the impact as we aim to raise an additional $34,000. Help our patients heal at home, donate today: https://ow.ly/nKUs50Z2v6y 💙
