Sometimes I get asked if I do on-leash or off-leash walks and the answer is both! I start by asking the owner their preference and if they say on leash, that’s it!

If the owner says off-leash then I do the first few walks on leash and start by giving 5-10 minutes off leash at a time as we build a rapport and trust until we go fully off-leash!

Sometimes the leash goes back on if we encounter traffic, another dog with a leash on or if recall needs to be refreshed 🐕
