Yesterday marked our 15th anniversary of giving. Although we slowed down over the past five years due to my post-graduate studies and my dad’s battle with cancer, we never stopped. Through quiet call-outs and small fundraisers, we’ve continued supporting our favorite charities.

Thirty-five thousand cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, and cakes later, our commitment remains the same: to help those who need it most. 🥰

If there's anything that I look forward to is getting a call-to-action from Icing Smiles Inc. As one of their Sugar Angels, there's nothing more gratifying than bringing smiles to kids afflicted with serious illnesses and their siblings. A major illness can affect the whole family, and the siblings are the unsung heroes. That's why it's my great joy to give icing smiles to one of those unsung heroes-- Marcel, who recently celebrated his 16th birthday. His younger sibling is battling short bowel syndrome, where a part of the small intestine is missing. Marcel helped in caring for his sibling with patience and love. The cake represents the things that he is passionate about. Born on Memorial Day, Marcel is very patriotic. In fact, he was a member of the Golden Gate Young Marines and plays football. Thanks again Icing Smiles, Inc.for the opportunity. Can't wait for our next call-to-action cake!
