So many people have stepped up to help our community over the past week, whether that meant clearing debris, delivering supplies, checking on neighbors, or helping family and friends.

Tracking volunteer hours isn’t about recognition or paperwork. What many people may not know is that those volunteer hours can help our community qualify for additional FEMA funding by counting toward the required local match.

Many people stepped up to help long before formal volunteer systems were in place and continue to support recovery efforts every day. That’s why it’s so important that all volunteer hours are documented.

If you’ve helped in any way, please take a few minutes to make sure your hours are recorded. Every act of service matters, and every hour helps support our community’s recovery. ❤️

If you need help with submitting the log or have questions, please stop by the VRC!
