Students from the EMT and Paramedic classes participated in the 12th Annual SWTX Grillin with the President event, where 41 teams competed for the top spot. Each team submitted three meats - fajitas, chicken, and pork ribs - as well as a dessert entry.

The EMT class was represented by 'The Stablizers,' while the Paramedic class went by 'Siren Sizzlers.' Notably, the Siren Sizzlers secured 8th place in both the ribs and overall categories.

Interestingly, further research revealed that SWTXC is the sole college nationwide hosting a cook-off of this nature. Congratulations are extended to all participants.
