The Newport Aquarium will present an informative and engaging shark program on Wednesday, June 24th at 11:00 am.

This program will debunk shark myths and expand our knowledge of these amazing creatures. How are the modern sharks related to Megalodon? This program is intended for children and is free and open to everyone.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, animal ambassadors (the sharks) are not currently available for outreach education programming. The program will still offer hands-on activities and artifacts.

Join us for uninterrupted reading time and a fun discussion of what people are reading. At the Silent Book Club we spend the first hour reading our current book anywhere in the library we'd like. Then for the last half hour, we gather to discuss with others what we're reading and what we'd recommend. Light refreshments are served.
