Madison String Quartet

Thank you, Montclair Music Club, for having us on your program yesterday! The Shostakovich 8th String Quartet is a powerful and emotional work, and we enjoyed performing for such an appreciative audience.

OUTSTANDING CONCERT OPPORTUNITY TOMORROW MORNING, 11:30 AM, featuring the Long Duo performing for the first time, and the Madison String Quartet. Both groups have appeared to critical acclaim at some of the world’s most prestigious venues. The award-winning Long Duo, known for their extensive world-wide careers and innovative programs, will be performing pieces by Schubert, Mendelssohn, Schoenfield, their own “Fantasy on the Ali Mountain”, and their arrangement of “America” from West Side Story. The versatile and trailblazing Madison String Quartet, will perform the Shostakovich String Quartet No. 8 and El Diablo Suelto by Fernandez. Reception immediately following the program.
