A cluttered house usually is not short on space. It is short on assigned spots. 🏡

Every slide here is the same idea wearing a different outfit. Give the school papers a place. Give the makeup a place. Give the six people who always end up in your kitchen a place to stand that is not behind you. ✨

The mess stops migrating once everything has somewhere to land. That is the thing to look for in a floor plan, not just how much square footage there is but whether any of it has a job. 🗝️

You will stop noticing these choices about a month after you move in. That is exactly the point. 🏡

The hardware you picked. The light over the sink. The flooring you went back and forth on for a solid week. Eventually they stop being decisions and just become the background of your life. ✨

But walk into a house where someone else made every one of them and you feel it instantly. That is the difference these choices are quietly making. 🥹

The best detail in this bathroom is the door. 🚪

Everything else photographs beautifully. The freestanding tub, the warm gold fixtures, the tile running floor to ceiling in the shower. But the thing you will actually appreciate at 6am is that this bath opens straight into the closet. ✨

Shower, get ready, get dressed, walk out. No hallway trip, no waking anyone up on the way. That is what good layout feels like when nobody is looking at it. 🏡

Guests always end up in the kitchen. The only question is whether the kitchen can handle it. 🍽️

What makes a space host well is rarely the finishes. It is prep room that is not in the walkway, an island people can gather around without trapping the cook, and enough oven space that the timing actually works out. ✨

Design it for the night twelve people show up and it will feel effortless on a random Tuesday too. 🏡
