I’m halfway through my 5th time of doing an 8 week strengthening program and bumped up my weights, again! I started last August after two years rehabbing my collarbone after having been dislocated for 20 years. My yoga practice helped me get through those two years of limited mobility; diaphragmatic breathing, bringing balance and stability to my muscles while engaging philosophical practices. Our bodies are constantly changing and our minds must be open to these fluctuations of life.
I’ve been training for more than a decade and now I’m developing a program that incorporates all of what I’ve learned from yoga, Pilates and strength training.
Just for women!! Small group classes start this fall in Naples! Message me for private sessions!
Just finished deep cleaning the house. My yoga practice keeps me flexible for reaching and bending, squats prepare me for cleaning the baseboards and strength training is for moving the heavy furniture. It’s not always about how that b***y looks!!
