We are happy to announce that Bloch Marine Service is becoming Yacht Club Marine. As of October 1st, 2019, Bloch Marine Service will no longer be taking new work orders, and will cease operations by October 31st, 2019.

But to keep service seamless, Yacht Club Marine will be performing the same quality service that you have come to expect over the years at both the Yacht Club of St. Louis and at Harbor Point Marina.

With that said, the winterization season is just around the corner, and it's time to get on the schedule to have expert winterization performed on your boat to protect it from the ravages of winter freezing. And also, winter is the best time to have Yacht Club Marine perform that much needed maintenance or big project that you have been putting off.

If your winterization request is received before October 15th, 2019, you will receive a 10% discount on winterization labor.

There is also a 10% discount on labor performed during the winter months for those big or small projects that the boat may need.

Winter is the best time to get ahead of the spring rush!

Gasoline Stabilizer:
Today's gasoline degrades at an alarming rate, especially when it contains ethanol, as does ALL of the gas we buy in the St. Louis area...we have no choice. Degrading gas causes loss of octane which can cause major damage in the cylinders. But just as bad, is the clogging and corrosion it causes in the fuel system. These pictures are of the inside of a carburetor where corrosion has caused poor performance, and could eventually lead to shutdown.
The best solution? Use an ethanol mitigating stabilizer ALL year long, and USE YOUR BOAT enough to replenish the gas to keep it fresh.

Freeze Damage. These are photos of an engine block that was improperly winterized. The expansion of the water as it freezes is powerful enough to break cast iron like a potato chip. Don't leave yourself exposed to these expensive repairs. Call us for your winterization now!
