In honor of my father's 80th birthday this week, we organized a short fishing trip for him before he heads back to Florida; the morning was enjoyable for Tina, Wayne Jr., and myself as we caught a lot of Smallmouth bass together and Tina volunteered to remove a lodged lure from the rocks.

I was with Mike and Dan yesterday morning. Having visited several times before, Mike was familiar with the location, but Dan was a first-timer. Both remained undeterred despite the strong winds.Bigdady Rods F & S Tackle 2

Ryan had a remarkable run of luck while fishing, landing multiple fish consecutively. This particular rock bass narrowly escaped predation by a larger fish. Following an intense struggle lasting around five minutes, I nearly landed a large flathead catfish, but it escaped by jumping out of the net, and the lure produced a sonic boom as it passed close to my ear. 2 flatheads, rock bass, channel catfish and lot of Smallies
