For 8 years, this match has brought nationally ranked USPSA competitors together for one purpose: supporting Maine's veterans. Nearly $460,000 raised. And we're not done.
This year's benefactors — Maine National Guard Youth Camp, Operation Reboot Outdoors, and Mead Mountain Outdoors — are doing incredible work for those who've served. Every dollar goes directly to them through the Standby to Fly Initiative (501c3).

This place is going to look much different a week from now.

Dano mowing the rifle range has always signified the beginning of the Standby to Fly Benefit match to me, the culmination of months of work from the Standby to Fly Initiative board and countless volunteers, sponsors, and competitors.

We’re looking forward to the 8th annual benefit match next weekend at Hampden Rifle and Pistol Club. This is looking to be the highest attended match to date.

And since SBTFI invested in waterproof targets, that means it won’t rain this year….right????

Today, our hearts are heavy as we mourn the tragic loss of a firefighter killed in the line of duty in Waldo County, and we keep the injured firefighters in our thoughts and prayers. We stand beside our brothers and sisters during this incredibly difficult time. Please keep the families, departments, and all affected in your prayers as they face the days ahead.

Rest easy, brother. Your service and sacrifice will always be honored and never forgotten.
