No time like the present, kids. 💥

Hey everyone! It's been a while, and I am so sorry for that! But I'm back! I'm going to begin a series that features my notebook. {backstory}--In the morning, I wake up and spend some time reading the Bible and praying. When I do so, I like to do some calligraphy or water color along with notes! And I feel like I need to share some of those entries with you all! So... we'll call this the notebook series!
DAY 1. 🔥🔥🔥
-this entry holds a lot of weight. I struggle sometimes with anxiety, especially with how much is going on in my world. (Along with THE world.) its easy for me to become super overwhelmed and just break down. On this particular day I had had enough. I was done. For the entire day, I prayed a verse over myself. It was 2 Corinthians 10:5, which says- “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

Putting it simply, every negative thought, anxious feeling or moment of depression is NOT from God. He wants the BEST for us. Which isn't anxiety or depression. It's our job to believe that. And it's our job to tell ourselves (and the devil) that these thoughts are not right, nor are they from God. WE take our thoughts captive. And HE gives us the strength to get through those moments of doing so. • so sorry for the length of this caption! Just wanted to express what was on my heart! Have an AMAZING week!!!
