Visual Captive provides video and photography services for small and mid-size businesses.
Professional dancer Lili (.barbell.ballerina) disrupted her industry by incorporating strength training with ballet, and she’s on a mission to help people do the same.
Last summer, Lili launched a new fitness app for ballet dancers and needed visuals that would stand out in an otherwise traditional market. Visual Captive supported the launch with a motivational 60-second commercial to challenge the status quo of weightlifting in ballet.
We highlighted Lili’s transformation when she discovered weight training and the intersection of two worlds: the dance studio and the weight room. Lili’s confidence and dedication throughout the shoot perfectly communicated how her program made her a stronger dancer both physically and mentally.
This project had a small budget and was accomplished by a small nimble crew of 5 over a single production day. We can’t thank this crew enough for what they were able to accomplish over a long production day that ended at 2AM. This project is proof that ambitious ideas don’t always need a massive budget to make an impact.

An incredible event is a masterclass in logistics, but it can also be a content goldmine.
When ImageTrend brought us on for their annual Connect conference, we implemented a split-track production strategy to create months’ worth of marketing materials from a 3-day event.
Half of our crew documented the event itself, while the rest of us set up a dedicated studio space in another room to capture customer and employee testimonials.

Seeing people in action brings so much storytelling value to videos. When we produce videos for clients, we are always on the lookout for shots that give context to viewers, provide scale references, and explain what's actually happening. These frames are from a recent video production with Spectrum Plastics at their Minneapolis facility.

capturing their new Mobile Medical Unit (MMU).
Vanna had an impressive high-tech assembly line to build these beautiful vans. Their attention to detail and use of high-quality components are visible in every van that rolls off the line. We had a lot of fun capturing their story and driving the MMU down some stunning dirt roads.

We had the privilege to film new Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) product line. The MMU is a mobile doctor's office on wheels bringing healthcare directly to patients in rural communities with full off-grid and off-road capabilities.
