By the way the first week is free as basic shapes is the foundation of lettering building. Don’t worry if you don’t have good handwriting, you see this is extremely different and extremely easy to learn if you commit to practicing at least 20 minutes a day. That’s all it takes. We had a great turnout at our 50th high school reunion! Deer Park Class of 83! Here’s some of the calligraphy signs I made and some goofy pics of the reunion! I’m really not trying to push my calligraphy business as I’ve got a lot going on. BUT if you’ve got a small upcoming event let me know. I may not be the best calligrapher in Houston but I’m pretty darn good and I’m probably the cheapest. Especially if you have the props and I can do the majority from home.

MAKE SURE TO SWIPE TO SEE ALL PICTURES! I recently took in my mom’s two Yorkies. They are super cute, but not always well behaved. But we already have two dogs, a chihuahua and a chocolate lab. So needless to say, my hubby is not fond of our current situation. Hopefully, she’ll be able to take care of at least one of them. But I’m not sure they will like being separated. They’ve been together since Buddy was born. Lily is his mom and they do love each other so much! Swipe to see pics of these cutie pies!

I’m designing a sign for my mom and don’t really want to spend the time vectorizing all of the possibilities. I’ve narrowed it down to four. I like to have your opinion. Let know by commenting below

Stuck in a rut and need ideas for Flourishing. Start with the sentence that contains all the letters of the alphabet. First write it in straight copperplate style and then using tracing paper take a red pencil and try different combinations to see what you like best. Start with simple flourishing and then progress to more the more elaborate. I did this on procreate so I didn’t need the tracing paper. But paper and pen work just as well. Make sure to use quality paper like the HP 32 lb copy paper and my preferences for tracing paper are Hobby Lobby’s Premium Tracing Paper and Canson Tracing Paper.
