Making this video has me all in my feelings. 😭

Our 7 week vet check was a reminder that God still answers prayers.

Many of you who have followed these babies from the beginning know the road here has not been an easy one. What we originally feared were neurological issues, combined with swimmer syndrome and mobility challenges, led to countless vet appointments, neurology consultations, follow ups, physical therapy, casting, taping, and so many moments where we simply didn't know what the future would hold.

There were days when some of these babies couldn't walk. Some struggled with tremors. Every single day was spent helping them take one more step forward.

Today, every single one of them was cleared not only by our veterinarian, but also by neurology. ❤️

Clean bill of health.
First vaccines.
Negative f***l.

They did it. 🙌

I am so incredibly thankful to everyone who rallied around these puppies. Friends, family, followers from across the country, and especially our amazing team of veterinarians, Dr. Kelly, Dr. Knowles, and Dr. Lombardo. ❤️❤️❤️

Most of all, I'm thankful to God. There were many nights filled with worry, tears, and prayers over these little ones. Through every setback, He provided the strength, support, and people we needed to keep moving forward.

To say I'm proud of these puppies would be an understatement.

Watching them go from struggling to walk to thriving, playing, and being cleared to live normal, happy lives is something I'll never forget or take for granted.

These little fighters are proof that faith, perseverance, and a whole lot of love can carry you farther than you ever imagined. ❤️

The world's busiest little boy finally crashed for the night... 🌙 😴

One of his many emotional support Bassets, of course, right by his side. ❤️

After a full day of adventures, snacks, imagination, and keeping up with her favorite tiny human, she fell asleep exactly as she was, earmuffs and all.

I guess taking them off sounded like tomorrow's problem.

Being a little boy's best friend is exhausting work. 😂🐾

We know we’ve been a little quiet lately, and honestly, the last few weeks have been emotionally exhausting behind the scenes...

A few of the puppies began showing neurological signs including tremors, coordination concerns, and early swimmer syndrome. What followed was a whirlwind of vet visits, specialist consultations, neurology appointments, physical therapy, taping, casting, daily exercises, posture work, mobility work, and a whole lot of prayers.

To say we were scared would be an understatement.

One thing our neurology team told us really stuck with me... We were actually some of the youngest puppies they had ever evaluated for concerns like this. Most cases they see are much older because many breeders wait weeks longer before seeking specialist intervention.

Thank God our vet pushed for early evaluation.

Today’s appointment honestly felt like an answered prayer!

The neurologists were genuinely shocked by the amount of progress these babies have made in such a short amount of time. The tremors have already significantly improved, our swimmer babies have made incredible strides, and the girls most affected are now showing little to almost nonexistent signs compared to where they started.

The neurologist told us she has personally never seen a case improve this quickly, and based on the progress so far, they are optimistic these signs may fully resolve over the next couple of weeks.

Hearing the words “we expect the possibility of a full recovery” after the last few weeks meant more than I can put into words.

Watching these babies fight so hard, adapt, improve, and continue pushing forward despite such a difficult start has been one of the most emotional and humbling experiences we’ve ever gone through as breeders. Their resilience has honestly left us in awe.

This experience also reinforced why we are so adamant about health testing and responsible breeding practices. Fully health tested parents drastically reduce risk, but they do not create genetically invincible puppies. Biology is still biology. Even with every precaution taken, unexpected things can still happen in medicine, genetics, and development. What matters most is having the support system, transparency, knowledge, and willingness to step in immediately when something does happen.

I am beyond thankful for our veterinarians, specialists, family, friends, past puppy families, future puppy families, and every single person who has been praying for these babies behind the scenes. So many people knew the day to day details of what we were facing and rallied around us during one of the hardest and most emotional seasons we’ve had as breeders.

More than anything, though, the credit belongs to God!

These babies have fought so hard, and we could not be more proud of them 🥹❤️

This boy has always loved his girl, Penelope…

But now that she has babies, the way he looks at her… and them… just hits different 🥹

He’s convinced his title has changed to "Grandpa" because he’s helping her raise her babies…

and he’s insistent on telling everyone he meets his girl has babies and he’s a grandpa 🥰😭🐾
