"CRTU members Ron Snyder (left) and Pete Martin shovel #3 stone into deteriorated "wet spots" on CRTU's access road to its main-stem Glade Run acid-mine-drainage treatment site. The road enables tri-axle trucks to deliver and place 23-ton loads of high-calcium limestone sand at the site. This project, begun in 1998 and continued by CRTU for 28 years, has significantly improved water in Glade Run, Dunbar Creek and the Youghiogheny River. Mike Bartock of Bartock Hauling and Excavating delivered the material and looks on in rearview mirror."
