Please, please, please do not stop your pet's heartworm preventative at this time, even though we have had some killing frosts. This little guy flew into my house this morning and made himself comfortable on my paper towels. The thermometer shows the outside temperature when he came in! This is also why indoor pets should be on heartworm preventative all year round too: CATS & DOGS!
