Just 40 minutes from St. Louis!! 👏👏👏 📍Klondike Park 4600 RT-94 Augusta, MO 63332 GPS Coordinates to the parking lot (for the paved lake loop): 38.57995° N, 90.83644° W Directions to parking lot: When you enter the park, take a right down the one way road and you will see the parking lot on the left (right by the shelter). We met at playground at the beach right next to the shelter! Trail: We walked the Klondike Park Lake Loop with my hiking group this past week!. It is stroller-friendly, a paved trail and flat! The trail around the lake is .6 miles and it is just gorgeous. There are restrooms and a small playground close by the trail too! *no swimming or wading is allowed in the lake, but I like to bring my daughter’s sand toys and play at the pretty white sand beach! 🥾2 other trails to check out: Both of these trails are not flat, they have elevation gain but the views are worth it! 📍Klondike Overlook Trail- partly paved trail with gravel going up to the overlook. It is .5 of a mile and has a great view of the Missouri River. There are many vultures at the cliff here too! This is an out-and-back trail. 📍Hogsback Trail- this trail is 1.7 miles and has a series of switchbacks with views of the Missouri River. This is a looped trail! Happy exploring!!
