Marketing Makeover

This entire thought process, was too, aimed at myself.

There are parts of my business I have done since day one that truly feel daunting sometimes. I created so many to do lists with the same handful of tasks that really just wouldn’t get done until the last minute 😵‍💫

It got me thinking. This mindset was WHY I started this business. I knew local businesses were missing out on having an online presence because it was something they simply hate doing, aren’t good at doing, or don’t want to do. Launching full service social media management meant taking the tasks of brainstorming, market research, content creation, strategy, video editing, and posting consistently out of their daily “to-do lists”. Small business owners wear so many hats and I love allowing them to take off a handful.

If you’re reading this screaming “UGH meee!”, maybe it’s time to outsource.

Real talk that all business owners need to hear -

As a business owner, I am constantly consuming content that has to do with “holiday posts to do this week” or “how to grow your account before Christmas”, bla bla bla. It’s the holiday season and for the past several years of being a business owner, I have probably watched three Christmas movies.

Last year, I implemented Holiday Time into my contacts - it was the first time I had actually taken a step away from work before Christmas Eve and it was LIFE CHANGING.

My biggest piece of advice is to stop saying yes to everything.
To that Christmas party.
To that dinner.
To that client request that is going to completely derail your to-do list.
To responding past working hours.

Being a business owner is not signing up for people to have 24/7 access to you - especially during busy season. 😉 Here’s to acting (and feeling) human again!
