Driving Hope addresses transportation barriers in Franklin County by connecting those in need to volunteer drivers.
We want to become a community where transportation barriers do not define access to services and supports.

We need YOUR help to launch Driving Hope and provide victims of domestic violence in Franklin County with critical transportation! Join us on Thursday, October 10, at 5 PM for a public meeting at the Scenic Regional Library's Union branch. We need additional Board members, volunteer drivers, and volunteer dispatchers.

Driving Hope volunteers collected $1,600 in donations in Washington today! A big thank you to all our volunteers and the generous people of Franklin County who donated to our organization.

Driving Hope needs volunteer drivers and dispatchers to provide critical transportation for victims of domestic violence. After a background check and training, drivers only need to provide one ride every three months. For more information, email [email protected].

Driving Hope‘s top priority is driver safety. We have many protocols in place to assure driver safety, such as requiring a client to walk to a public or otherwise safe location to be picked up.
