Please stay off the roads if you can. Fire and Sheriff’s Office are out monitoring conditions the best they can, but most roads are already covered with ice and temps will keep dropping overnight. Help keep our community and first responders safe by staying home!!
We will make our station available to serve as a warming station for those in need.

We just attended the US National Weather Service severe weather briefing for potential weather this weekend, Sat. 1/31-2/1. I'm not going to mention the "S" word because it is too soon, and there are three different models in play. The one thing that all the models agree on is that we are going to have a VERY COLD weekend. We may see below-freezing temperatures for over 67 hours straight.
Bottom line... Make sure you have food and medications on hand and don't return those generators just yet.

❄️ Ice Storm Update & Warming Stations ❄️
With the ice storm looking more likely, warming stations will open starting Saturday to help keep everyone safe and comfortable.
Here’s what you need to know:
✅ These stations are for warming only – a place to get out of the cold.
✅ You can charge your phone and connect oxygen machines to power.
⚠️ Beds and meals will NOT be provided, so please bring any snacks or essentials you may need.
We’re here to help you stay warm and safe during this winter weather. Please share this information with friends and neighbors who might need it!
As we get closer to the event, more stations will probably be added to the list.

STATION 5 - 1021 Farmington Road, Madison
