Looking for a new social outlet this summer? Check out our Wines & Spines book club for monthly discussions on thought-provoking books through a social justice lens. Wines & Spines meets on the last Thursday of each month from 5:30 to 7 PM at The Beehive Ukiah. This Thursday, June 25th we'll discuss Louise Penny's "Still Life."

The Kids' Farmer's Market has begun! Join us tomorrow at Alex Thomas Plaza for our second market of the season. The kids will be out there from 10 AM to noon.

Children are invited to Lunch at the Library Pop-up in the Park on Tuesdays from 10 AM to 1 PM at Todd Grove Park. Join us for crafts, bubbles, and STEM fun! Free lunch will be served weekdays though the summer from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and is hosted by the Ukiah Unified School District.

The Ukiah Branch Library will be at Todd Grove Park every Tuesday from 10 AM to 1 PM through August 4th. Lunch at the Library is sponsored by Mendocino County Library and is a project of California State Library, supported with funds from the State of California.

The Summer Reading Program is here! We have books for your home library, summer activities, and more. Come by the Ukiah Branch Library this week to pick up a reading log to win prizes for reading and other activities.

Come to our Repair Fair next Saturday, June 27th from 2-4 PM at Medium Art Center. We'll have repair experts who can fix your things for free on site. Meet us at the old Train Depot on Perkins Street next Saturday, June 27th at noon for a stroll along the Great Redwood Trail. Our Amble & Ramble book club meets on the last Saturday of every month to walk and talk about any book we're currently reading. Please email the host Melissa at [email protected] to sign up.

Mark your calendars - our new, weekly Bilingual Storytime for kids will begin on Saturday, July 18th at 11 AM. This English/Spanish Storytime will introduce young learners to the basics of early literacy with reading, talking, singing, and playing.

Bring the kids next Friday, June 26th at 3:30 PM for the final installment of our Fairy Tale STEM series. We'll use science and math principles to put a new spin on everyone's favorite fairy tale, "Three Little Pigs."
