Alpaca Heights

Some days I’m the shipping department around here! One of my longtime customers called. Needed more socks. She’s been gifting them to friends who are freezing in this weather. Oh how I love these stories.

She also shared she wears hers 24/7. I don’t quite do that (yet)!

I love these stories…
A regular customer wintering down south is wearing his alpaca socks in the cold weather they’re having. His friend complains about cold feet.
My customer sings the praises of warm alpaca socks that he bought here. I asked if the friend knew anything about alpacas….nope.
The good news….my customer just stopped in to get a pair for his friend before he heads back south. I love it!

I’ll open my store for anyone still needing warm socks. Winter has sure been relentless. Simply text or call. I make sure I have a good quantity on hand!

I want to thank everyone who stopped to shop in 2025! It was a banner year.
Winter came fast and furious and didn’t let up.
Shoppers started buying quantities of alpaca socks as soon as I opened Nov. 1. By Christmas Eve, 445 pairs had sold and that was mostly in Nov. & Dec.

Many new faces this season and lots of returning customers from near and far. Many new people ditched their cotton socks and upgraded to the wicking ability of toasty alpaca!

For anyone I wasn’t able to accommodate over the Holidays, reach out if you plan to be in my area and I’ll open the store. I have lots of warm socks on hand.

39 # of cooking beans from Sheridan Acres were sold! It was amazing to me how many of those purchasers were senior citizen men! I’m hoping to convince Kevin I need his beans in my store next season too!

It’s been a busy morning and I haven’t even been open an hour! I still have a good selection of socks & hats and other goodies….don’t forget the cooking beans!

Tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 20, the store will close early at 2 p.m.
Sunday will have normal hours 11-3.

Starting Monday, Dec. 22, my store closes and is only open by appointment.
