MetaMedia always brings us on for the coolest shoots. This week we got to head all the way over to the Illinois Railway Museum with our 360° virtual reality camera. Here's hoping we get to do more VR projects in the new year!

One of the VR experiences we created in collaboration with The Nature Conservancy, Cedar's Story, has won the 2023 Immersive Storytelling 360 Award at The MY HERO Project International Film Festival! Filmed about 3 hours east of Vancouver, Canada, Cedar's Story allows you to immerse yourself into the forests of The Emerald Edge with the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation. Thank you so much to The My HERO Project, and to The Nature Conservancy - we are still so honored to have helped tell the story of The Emerald Edge.

The Meta Quest 3 is officially coming on October 10th! With a more compact design and sharper graphics, we think this headset is going to be BIG for VR gaming - especially mixed reality (MR) gaming, something that Meta is exploring with this new addition to the Quest line. We're going to make sure our VR videos look amazing on this, along with the Apple Vision Pro we're excited to see release!

Apple announced their new AR headset today - the Apple Vision Pro 🔥 As virtual reality nerds, we can't wait to get our hands on this and start creating content. Once the Vision Pro is out, going forward we'll make sure our VR and AR content will look amazing on it, along with the Meta Quest 2 and other comparable headsets. The world of VR is changing and we are HERE for it!

Satanic Hispanics is coming to a theatre near you! Bard Tales helped produce this feature-length collection of horror shorts, which premiered and won the Best Director Award at FantasticFest in September. The anthology highlights Hispanic filmmakers and will be hitting 800 movie theaters in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico this September. We hope audiences have as much fun watching this creepy and awesome collection of shorts as we did working on it.
