What began in 1979 as a cottage with eight boys has grown across Texas to eight locations, serving over 1,900 boys and girls, birth-22. They have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect and developmental challenges. Some, even at very tender ages, are so beaten up by life that they are barely remaining afloat. In 1994, Azleway initiated a foster care recruitment program. Azleway Children’s Services (ACS) places boys and girls, ages birth-22, directly into foster homes. Our goal is to not only place children with families who can offer restoration, but to keep siblings together, whenever possible. In 2010, Azleway began offering adoption services. We are proud to say that we have helped over 70 children find their “forever families.”
