Porch Swing Sweets was started one year ago and I truly cannot believe how far it’s come. What started as just a fun little hobby for this stay at home mom of two has become such a blessing and joy for me and our family! THANK YOU to everyone who has liked our posts, shared about us with others, welcomed us into your businesses, invited us to events and offered us pop-up opportunities. THANK YOU to everyone who has spent their hard earned money on our goodies, been our taste testers and shared our cake pops and cookie cakes with their families and friends. 🩷

🙏🏼 This unexpected adventure has brought so much joy to us and we hope it has to you too! Every cake pop and cookie cake we’ve made has been prayed over, we hope it’s blessed you!

The Picket Fence has become one of my FAVORITE places!! Truly such a special gem. If you haven’t visited yet, go!!

Lately, I’ve found myself standing back and just watching.

Watching friends who planned a shopping day together wander through the store, laughing over things that remind them of their childhood, picking out gifts for someone they love, grabbing something special, and saying, “Let’s just look one more time.”

Watching someone walk through our doors for the very first time and leave feeling like they’ve found a place they’ll come back to again and again.

That has become one of my favorite parts of The Picket Fence.

This shop has grown into so much more than a place to buy beautiful things. It’s become a place to slow down, connect, discover talented local makers, and spend time with the people who matter most. Every day we see friendships being made, old friends reconnecting, families making memories, and visitors who have traveled from near and far just to experience what everyone has been talking about.

To every single person who has chosen to spend part of your day with us… thank you.
