Steal Kill And Destroy, aka SKAD, is a faith based non-profit organization that reaches out to youth who often feel alone in their struggles. Substance abuse, depression, dysfunctional family life, and lack of identity are just a few of the topics we face on a regular basis with teens. We celebrated 9 years and said our goodbye's. We shared laughter, memories, tears, and life together. Thanks for all of those who have supported this organization over the last 9 years. May every word of life & every ounce of transparency shared, be honored and be set out like a ripple to make an impact on this generation and the ones to come. Thank you David Allen for capturing these glorious photos.
July 13th, 2008 This organization was set in motion and after 9 years, July 13th 2017, we will host our last community night. The decision has been made to dissolve the organization due to lack of resources (volunteers, funding, workers, etc) because we just don't have what it takes anymore to run it well. It is bittersweet to see this it go, but we believe this is the best decision. Thank you to everyone who has served, prayed, donated, and to the countless teens who have come and shared their lives with us. It's hard to say goodbye, but we trust that the Lord knows what Tyler Texas needs and we pray that others will be inspired to offer a safe community for young people.
Our last meeting will be public and we would like to invite old skad kids, supporters, and anyone else who wants to join, come celebrate the 9 years with us. More information to come!

Today is the LAST day to bid on our silent auction art pieces! Check out our default photo for more information.
Last nights topic was about "suppression" and "why it's toxic." Our teens spoke about why and how they suppress and they even shared something they've suppressed. It was a great topic that could have lasted hours longer than the allotted time.
Community Nights are amazing and so are our art nights. Those are two healthy ways that we encourage struggling teens in Tyler to communicate how they're feeling.
Visit The Foundry Coffee House (until May 30th) and check out the listening room to see (& place a bid on) some art created by our teens and local artists. Art is a special part of our program and we love how it is integrated in what we do!
