Per Longview head football coach and AD John King, Longview’s game against West Mesquite has been moved from Friday to Thursday. Kickoff set for 7 p.m. at Lobo Stadium.

Final from Tyler: Longview 42, Tyler 3. Lobos (9-0, 6-0) clinch the District 7-5A DI title and earn a first-round home playoff game. Will host West Mesquite next Friday to close out the regular season.

We've made changes to our game schedule for this week.

Sub-varsity games will be played today (Wednesday) at 5:30pm

Varsity game vs Tyler High has been moved to Thursday @ 7pm

This was a mutual agreement between both districts due to the forecast of inclement weather on Friday.

The Hughes Springs Lady Mustangs went 2-0 during the week and avenged a loss to the team right behind them in the District 15-3A standings.

Per David Smoak, Kilgore High school graduate Dennis Alexander will be inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame on May 6, 2023.

Alexander was also inducted into the THSCA Hall of Honor this past summer.

He carved out a 340-140-11 record in 45 seasons at Hughes Springs, Daingerfield, Henderson, Harleton and Troup and led Daingerfield to a pair of stste tirles.
